The information for which we all are much awaited is officially out. BCCI has officially confirmed the names of players who will be travelling to Dubai for the Champions Trophy 2025. A total of 15 matches are to be held in the tournament from 19th Feb to 9th March out of which India’s matches will take place in Dubai. While other matches will be played on the scheduled venues in Pakistan. All the teams are divided into two groups. The tournament involves a round-robin format followed by knockout matches.
Out of a total of 15 matches 12 will be group state matches followed by 2 semi-finals and 1 final. Here are the further details regarding key matches and other details of Team India.

Key matches of team India
All the 3 matches of team India will be played In Dubai as previously decided. Here are the scheduled dates for India’s group stage matches along with the time and venue.
1st Match – 20th February 2025, India Vs Bangladesh

2nd Match – 23rd February 2025, India Vs Pakistan

One of the semi-finals is scheduled to be held in Dubai. In case India reaches the final, the match will be played in Dubai International Stadium.
This schedule comes after ICC accepted the Hybrid model proposed by BCCI for Champions Trophy 2025. Under this schedule matches will split between Pakistan and UAE. According to this schedule, India’s matches will be played in Dubai International Stadium while other matches will be played in Pakistan’s Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Along with this, 3 non-travelling substitutes are also included who will replace the player in case of injuries or unavailability. They are Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Muhammad Siraj.
Star performer Jaspreet Bumrah has been ruled out of Champions Trophy 2025 after he suffered a lower back injury. The selectors have replaced him with Harshit Rana. This is the second time when Bumrah has lost an ICC tournament due to his injuries.

Cricket enthusiasts can play cricket online and enjoy the whole tournament on their smartphone or television. All the matches will be available live on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. Further, live telecast on television will be available on Star Sports Network. According to IST, the match will start at 2:30 PM and live coverage will start 1 hour before this schedule.
